Dedicated to the cause of Blind and physically challenged, this Trust was established in the year 1991. Mr.K.K.Ramani who was not having his legs but with his vision joined hands to launch Disabled Welfare Association. Soon the people got in to the idea of establishing “ASHAKIRAN TRUST” with very meaningful objective. The dream conceived was realised with the inception of the J.M.R.school for Blind in a place owned by the Chitrdurga Bruhanmutt. The then Swamiji gifted the land for construction of the school building which was done within one year. The Trustees year after year struggled, worked hard and reached the height with full pledged hostel facilities, prayer hall, class rooms and vocational training centre.
